Cambourn Construction was established in 2018 to deliver a full service for all Wellington’s residential building and renovation needs. Owner and manager Blake Cambourn has brought together a small team of dedicated professionals with a passion for their craft and an unwavering commitment to creating functional and aesthetically pleasing built environments, that meet and exceed client expectations.
Great relationships are at the heart of any successful project and Blake and his team pride themselves on open and honest communication. Regular and timely updates on progress combined with respect for clients and their homes means clients are fully involved in the building process and most importantly, are completely satisfied with the final result.

With two decades in the construction industry across both Australia and New Zealand, Blake combines an impressive depth of experience with a meticulous commitment to quality. Over the years, he has mastered every stage of the building process, from foundational work to fine finishes, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards. Blake’s passion for his craft and his dedication to delivering outstanding results have earned him a solid reputation and the loyalty of his clients.
Cody Robinson
Licensed Builder
Being the son of a builder, construction is in Cody’s blood. A qualified carpenter for 15 years, he takes pride in delivering high-quality results, not to mention being a joy to have on site.
Simon Dixon
Building Apprentice
Now in his fourth year as a building apprentice, Simon has found his stride since transitioning from his previous career as a butcher, where they were known for the legendary Island Bay sausages. He brings that same dedication to detail into his new trade.
